Once upon a sunny night,
An emperor's boat stood dark and bright.
It harbored small but tireless squires
Who rowed their lord from distant spires.
His majesty blew his moonlit horn,
And filled the night with twinkling stars.
The vibrant sun, famed but forlorn,
Is kept ablaze by scraps and pyres.
He keeps it left, as well as right,
What goes below, comes back in sight.
In the middle of dusk, dawn, day and night,
The King of Balance brings meridian delight!
